Dr. Nouran Hamza is a biostatistician, epidemiologist, and clinical research leader with nearly two decades of experience. At CRK-NGO, she supports study design, methodology, and statistical analysis. She ensures every project meets the highest scientific and ethical standards while advancing healthcare research in underserved communities.
She is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Clinical Research Key (CRO) in Kenya, where she leads methodology development and statistical analysis tailored to local and global contexts. In addition, she founded MARS-Global, a consultancy firm in London and Cairo that delivers strategic guidance to health organizations in more than 20 countries. She further serves as Co-Founder and Director of Research at Emirates Medical Services (EMS) in Dubai, focusing on Real World Evidence (RWE) generation and market access research.
Dr. Hamza holds a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Cambridge. She also holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Pharmacoepidemiology from the High Institute of Public Health, and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Six October University. Beyond academia, she is the host of the podcast “Biostat Done 4U”, where she translates complex biostatistics into practical insights for healthcare professionals.
Her expertise covers clinical trial methodology, statistical programming, real-world evidence, and health economics. She has published widely in infectious diseases, oncology, digital health, and global public health. She is frequently invited as a keynote speaker and serves on international scientific committees.
Dr. Hamza has secured multiple research grants, including awards from Pfizer and the British Medical Journal (BMJ), and international science foundations. At CRK-NGO, , she combines global experience with local insight. Her mission is to strengthen research capacity and ensure that data translates into better patient care.
